ABOUT NHS
Since 1975, the Northfield Historical Society has been dedicated to preserving, interpreting, and honoring the unique history of Northfield, Minn.
NHS is an independent, non-profit organization governed by its membership through a Board of Directors.
Today, the Northfield Historical Society actively serves the Northfield area by offering presentations of Northfield history, educational programs, special historical events, exhibits, and a library and archives.
COLLECTIONS
The Northfield Historical Society’s online collection is comprised of objects that are associated with Carleton College, St. Olaf College, the Northfield Public School District, the City of Northfield, and the 1876 attempted bank raid by the James-Younger Gang.
